You'll love these exotic heirloom beans with their unique markings and color! Tiger Eye Beans are amber/gold with maroon streaks swirling up the side, resembling a tiger's eye. They are known for their creamy, smooth texture and rich flavor. Tiger Eye Beans have extremely thin skins which almost dissolve when cooked. DeliciAous in soups since they make a thick broth from the stock they are simmered in. Known also as "pepa de zapallo", these decorative beans are said to have originated in either Chile or Argentina.

Recommended Preparation Instructions:

Simmer soaked beans for 1½ to 2 hours or pressure cook soaked beans for 20-25 minutes.
