Description:
This savory paste is comprised of dried Poblano Chile that is re-hydrated and pureed in its natural state. All the natural flavor is intact! The Ancho chile is considered the sweetest and mildest of all dried Mexican chiles. Part of the "Holy Trinity" of Chiles, you may use this paste wherever you would normally use the dried form of the chile. Use as a base or finishing agent in soups and sauces. It is one of the three chile's used in traditional Mole sauce.
This natural paste is a time saver for preparing tasty meals. Add Ancho Chile Paste to sauces, shredded meat, vegetables, pasta and egg dishes.
