Description:

The Guajillo (wha - hee - oh) Chile Pepper is one of the most commonly grown chiles in Mexico after the Ancho. The flavor of the Guajillo is distinct, combining spiciness with a smoky tanginess, slightly fruity with a strong piney, berry undertone. Mildly hot, a little of this Chile goes a long way for flavoring.Use this paste wherever you would normally use dried or canned chiles.

This chile is one of the Holy Trinity of chiles used in Mole sauce. This paste is a step saver in the kitchen. Because it is so mild, it is versatile. Use this paste wherever you would normally use dried or canned chiles.
