Fuzzy on the outside skin and speckled on the inside with small black seeds and a creamy smooth texture, this fruit reminds you of a blend of strawberries, bananas, and melons.

Known as Yang Tao, Hayward kiwi, or Chinese Gooseberries, they are native to China. These nutritious fruits were brought to New Zealand from China in the early 20th Century.

Filled with vitamins A, C, and E, Kiwifruit is a good source of potassium, rich in minerals, and is loaded with dietary fiber that is helpful for controlling blood sugar.
