CHAMPIGNON, POWDER (OG)

Description:

The Champignon or White Button is the most frequently used of all Mushrooms. They have been cultivated by the French since the 1700's, but today the United States is the largest grower of cultivated White Button Mushrooms.  The Champignon has a mild flavor and firm texture.  It holds it shape well when cooked but does decrease in size.  Available in sliced or powdered form, the Champignon merges well with gravies, sauces, cream soups, stews, pasta, casseroles and even stir-fry.  This product is Organic.

Suggested Use:
Delicious in gravy, sauces, cream soups, stews, rice pilaf, stir-fry and casseroles - just about anything you'd want to use Mushrooms in!  Use Champignon Powder in soup bases or with pasta for a mild mushroom flavor.
