PECAN MEAL
Description:
Pecans are a member of the hickory family and are the only major tree nut that grows naturally in North America. Pecan trees prefer temperate climates. The Pecan's smooth, tan shell is about 1 inch in length and relatively thin. The buttery-rich kernel is golden-brown on the outside and beige on the inside. Whether they are chopped or halved or ground into meal, Pecans add a unique flavor to any recipe. Pecans can be enjoyed year round for their meaty rich taste and numerous health benefits. Loved by culinary professionals for their sweet crunch and undeniable flavor, Pecans are an ideal ingredient for many foods.
