Spinach flavored Orzo is made with enriched durum wheat flour and spinach powder. Oval shaped and about 1/3 inches long, this mildly flavored Orzo has a firm texture and lends itself to many applications. Spinach Orzo holds well when cooked making it a flexible ingredient. Combine Spinach Orzo with herbs and vegetables for a refreshing vegetarian meal or toss with seafood and a light sauce for a colorful plate presentation. One pound dry yields 6-1/2 cups cooked.

Recommended Preparation Instructions:
Add 1 cup of Orzo to 2 cups of rapidly boiling water or stock. Return to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until tender, yet still al dente. Add uncooked Orzo to soups during last 10 minutes of cooking.
One cup dry yields 3 cups cooked.
