Tomato Orzo is delicious when cooked and tossed with butter, vegetables or seafood and herbs. Combine Tomato Orzo with legumes or couscous for a warm pasta salad or add a light pesto for a dressier flavor. Tomato Orzo holds its shape when cooked and lends itself to many applications. One pound dry yields 6-1/2 cups cooked.

Recommended Preparation Instructions:

Add 1 cup of Orzo to 2 cups of rapidly boiling water or your favorite stock. Return to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until tender, yet still al dente. When adding Orzo to soups add during the last 10 minutes of cooking.

One cup dry yields 3 cups cooked.
