CARROT POWDER
Description:
Carrots, a thick, fleshy root that grows underground with leaves that emerge above the ground, is part of the same family as Fennel, Cumin and Dill. This root is rich in carotene, B Vitamins, calcium and potassium. Carrots add sweetness and color to breads, pastries, pasta, soups and stews. Carrot powder is a convenient alternative to the fresh root and is versatile enough to use in beverages, desserts and even as a plate garnish! This light orange powder can be used in any recipe requiring carrot flavor.
Suggested Use:
Use in any recipe requiring the sweet taste and color of carrots. Wonderful for flavoring pastas, breads, cakes, stews, soups and stir-fry.
