Description:

Carrots, a thick, fleshy root that grows underground with leaves that emerge above the ground, is part of the same family as Fennel, Cumin and Dill. This root is rich in carotene, B Vitamins, calcium and potassium. Carrots add sweetness and color to breads, pastries, pasta, soups and stews. Carrot powder is a convenient alternative to the fresh root and is versatile enough to use in beverages, desserts and even as a plate garnish! This light orange powder can be used in any recipe requiring carrot flavor.

Use in any recipe requiring the sweet taste and color of carrots. Wonderful for flavoring pastas, breads, cakes, stews, soups and stir-fry. Replace up to 1/4 c of flour with dried carrot powder in your favorite recipe.
