Himalayan Style Red Rice is a colorful addition to rice salads and rice pilaf.  Similar in shape to brown rice, Himalayan Style Red Rice has a distinctive rosy color and full shape.  Red Rice contains more of the Natural Bran than does White Rice. For this reason it requires a longer cooking time and has a nuttier more complex flavor than processed White Rices.  Delicious with grilled fish and vegetarian meals.
