Description:

Tamarind is the fruit of a tree that comes in large pods which contain small seeds and a sour-sweet pulp. We use the Tamarind sour-sweet pulp to make our paste.

Tamarind paste is used to flavor full bodied foods such as Chutneys and Curry dishes or added to spicy dishes as well. If you are looking for a sour-sweet flavor to combine with a spicy flavor, this product is for you. Can be used as a substitute for Mango pulp in dishes.
