Description:
Sun-Dried Tomatoes are vine-ripened Tomatoes that are picked and dried. Our Sun-Dried Tomatoes are wonderfully fragrant with the sweet flavor of ripe Tomatoes. Sun-Dried Tomatoes have long been used in Mediterranean areas; though they are relatively new to the United States gourmet market. Traditionally, sun-drying was one of the few safe ways to preserve produce.
Suggested Use:
Use in any recipe that calls for Tomatoes. Chopped Sun-Dried Tomatores are great in breads and bagels or mixed into salads. Add to pizzas, pasta sauces or chile. Marinate and broil with garlic to make an easy and delicious appetizer.
