Brown Sugar glaze for pork or ham
  • 1 1/2 cups Light Brown Sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup dark Rum
  • 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Pineapple slices, tangerine or orange wedges for garnish

Combine ingredients: let stand 10 minutes then brush on meat every 15 minutes during the cooking process.

Apple Juice can be substituted for an alcohol free version of the glaze.
