Rice River Farms Rodeo Blend offers the rich, hearty flavor of rice and beans with a warm smoky chipotle flavor! For those who enjoy Southwestern-style cuisine, this blend is a must-have! Use as bedding with grilled chicken or barbequed ribs. Delicious with any kind of protein or use to replace meat in wraps, burritos, and tacos. 

The seasoning is included with the rice blend but is packaged separately so you can use as much or as little as you would like. Each 10 oz. pouch will easily serve a family of four with generous portions. Freeze any leftovers to use in salads or soups

Ingredients:

Parboiled Brown Rice, Dry Roasted Wild Rice, Red Rice, Yellow Split Peas, Chickpeas, Adzuki Beans, Urad Dal (black Lentils), Black Beans, and Red Bell Pepper.

Shelf Life: Maximum 1 year (under optimum storage conditions).

Storage Conditions: Storage environment should be cool and dry (less than 70% RH) and free from undesirable odors.

Recommended Preparation Instructions

Combine 1 package rice mix, 4 - 4 1/2 cups water, 1 tablespoon cooking oil or butter and 3 tablespoons Chieftain Seasoning and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 45-60 minutes. Let set for 10 minutes; fluff with a fork before serving.

1 cup of dry will yield 5 cups.
