This blend's subtle yet fragrant flavor compliments the balance of Thai dishes. Off-white in color with reddish-colored seasoning, this blend has a mild coconut and spice flavor.
Ingredient Statement:
Rice, coconut, salt, coconut milk powder, dried chiles, and spices, may contain 1% or less canola oil, scallions, garlic, onion, maltodextrin, paprika, and sodium caseinate. Contains tree nuts and milk.
- Use as a base for curry dishes, adding vegetables and protein
- Stuff cooked rice into chicken, fish or pork then slice for a beautiful presentation
- Add raw shrimp, scallops or whitefish while cooking to make a one-pot meal
- Form cooked and cooled rice into patties then sauté or fry to make rice cakes
Recommended Preparation Instructions:
Bring 2 cups water to boil and add 1 cup Thai Coconut Red Rice. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until water is almost gone (about 10 minutes).
