• 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup plain unsalted butter
  • 2 cups self raising flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup sour milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups cocoa powder
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ to ¾ teaspoon chili powder of choice
  • chocolate frosting

Preheat Oven to 350º C 

Lightly grease/flour a deep cake pan. In bowl beat the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.  Beat in one egg at a time into mixture until whisked well. In a seperate bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients. Fold dry ingredients into the butter and sugar mixture.  Slowly add the buttermilk and sour cream and mix well.  Fold mini chocolate chips into mixture.  Pour batter into cake pan and bake for approximately 35 to 40 minutes.  Remove from oven, cool, frost and serve!
