With the deep, rich colors of whole grains and rice, this blend is gluten free and delicious in stuffing, soups, rice cakes, wraps, casseroles and warm and cold salads. Use this blend to compliment ostrich, bear, elk, caribou, venison, duck, goose, pheasant, beef, pork and chicken.

Savory Mushroom Blend is a rich and hearty whole grain blend that compliments wild game, beef and poultry dishes. Use anywhere you would normally offer straight wild rice or brown rice.

Recommended Preparation Instructions:

  • 2 pounds of rice
  • 12 cups of water
  • ¼ cup of cooking oil or butter
  • 5 ounces of Chieftain Seasoning (optional)

Combine ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 40-50 minutes. Let set for 10 minutes; fluff with a fork before serving.
