  • 2 tablespoons clarified butter or vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
  • ¼ cup minced fresh cilantro
  • or
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
  • ½ tablespoon minced fresh oregano
  • ¼ cup minced fresh Italian parsley

 Add the following to either of the above:

2 pounds fresh greens, washed and trimmed

3 cups cooked, drained, Beans

Salt and pepper to taste

For either group of ingredients: Heat butter or oil over medium heat. Stir in garlic and seasonings; sauté for 3 minutes. Stir in greens. Cover and cook for about 4 minutes to wilt greens. Remove cover and stir in beans. Cook for 3 minutes or until beans are heated through. Add salt and pepper and serve hot.
