Dressing Options ~ just mix to taste and add to salad

  • olive oil or flavored olive oil
  • Lemon juice


  • flavored Vinegar (raspberry is delicious!)
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Herbs of choice
  • Olive Oil
  • Sugar, Honey or Maple Syrup as sweetener

Cook Banquet Blend with seasoning, set aside to cool.  Cook Saffron Rice and Quinoa seperately, when done fluff with fork and cool.  Combine cooled Banquet Blend and Saffron Rice and Quinoa in a bowl, add chopped strawberries, pineapple tidbits and onion.  Combine dressing to taste.  Add to salad and serve immediately.

If storing overnight, add strawberries right before serving to prevent discoloration.  

Alternative Options: Use a variety of vegetables such as green, red or yellow bell peppers.  Add pomegranite seeds or kiwi for a unique flavor.
