Wild Rice Chicken Salad

  • 10 oz package Rice River Farms Cranberry Festival Blend, (or wild rice blend of choice), prepared per package directions then chill

  • ½ cup chopped green onions

  • 1 cup diced celery

  • 2 cups chicken, cooked and chopped into bite size pieces

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp seasoned salt

  • 1 tsp thyme

  • black pepper to taste

Recipe Directions:

Prepare rice per package directions, then chill.


Once rice is cool, combine ingredients together and chill thoroughly. Serve in a croissant, stuff into a pita pocket or wrap. Salad can also be nestled into a ruffled leaf of lettuce.


Makes 6 to 8 servings.
